Reflection 1

Process Reflection
When I was assigned the challenge of writing a compare and contrast essay, I can admit that I was afraid because writing isn’t really my forte. After writing my first draft, I was still a bit skeptical, but I decided to hang in there and make it better for me and for my grades. It was in a pretty sad state, so I decided to bring in more evidence and add a lot more facts about both sides of the issue. Once I got my revised essay peer reviewed, I felt better because there weren’t many mishaps on it. It was simple for me to choose my topic and do research on it, because I’m interested in it. The same goes for creating my thesis statement. I’m the most confident about my facts. I don’t think anything needs more work on it, now that it’s finalized. Working on the wiki also helped my research and I even gained a new opinion that I didn’t have before. None of the other posts in the same subject changed my initial perspective though. Overall, I feel like I researched the topic deeply. I gained even more knowledge because of that aspect as well.
